Baby book and posters for South Korea

Last year I was approached by a company in South Korea to create a couple of baby posters and concertina book using my illustrations. It was a fun project as I love working on designs for babies and also love working in mostly black and white.

The concertina book was fun - one side of the book contained only black and white illustrations whilst the other side featured high contrast coloured versions.

All the illustrations were hand drawn on paper using a fine line black pen. The illustrations were then scanned in at a very high resolution before being coloured and then send of to the publishers.

Below shows a photo of hope I worked on the posters like a paper collage before hand illustrating all the various components. ***Yes, I agree, it's a very labour intensive way of working and I will endeavour to learn quicker skills when I have time to learn them! (I have an iPad Pro so have no excuse!)

I hope to receive some copies of my posters and books later on this year but in the meantime, if you look carefully, you'll see them amongst this photo below!
